Binance Kazakhstan Secures Full Digital Asset Trading License
According to a blog post by the crypto exchange, this move marks a key regulatory milestone, as Binance Kazakhstan becomes the first digital-asset platform in the region to secure such a license. The DATF license from AFSA enables Binance to establish a digital assets trading facility in the country, in compliance with the Astana International Financial Centre’s (AIFC) regulatory framework.
Binance’s Kazakhstan subsidiary underwent a multi-stage review to meet AFSA’s regulatory standards, including external financial audits and ISO certifications. This review assessed the platform’s compliance with codes like AIFC Digital Asset Activities, Conduct of Business Rules, and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
This ensures the security and trustworthiness of Binance Kazakhstan’s systems for providing trading and custody services.
